The Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) is the process by which RICS ensures candidates who wish to become members are competent to practise as chartered surveyors.

As an APC assessor, I play a role in ensuring that only those who fulfil the ethical standards and professional and technical competency requirements become RICS chartered professionals.
